this is a picture of brandon holding stella when she was just a few weeks old. he has been an active part of her life from the beginning. when i was trying to get pregnant for years...literally years, he was right there with me. at every doctors appointment, every tear, and every disappointment. when i was pregnant with her, he was right there with me again. for every doctors appointment, ultrasound, test, hospital stay or visit. i was on bed rest for over 20 weeks and in the hospital for almost a month and i never remember him complaining. i remember complaining.....but not him. then when she was born, he was right there with me again. we traded off feedings and took turns changing diapers. now that she is 2, he just loves being with her. he's pretty amazing actually. he is the best young father i've ever seen in action. when we were dating, i knew he was a good man and when we were married, i thought he'd be a good father. seriously, he has blown me away. i couldn't imagine him being any better. any more active or present or loving. brandon, happy (late) fathers day. your girls love you.
