ode to steph.

i was blessed to have my best friend in town for the weekend. 1 weekend isn't long enough! stella really enjoyed having aunt stephanie here too and they really bonded over this trip. stephanie can get stella to bed faster and earlier than i can.....which is pretty amazing if you know my kid! she's got skillz.

stella was sick during the visit so we spent a lot of time at home but we did get a girls day out and topped it off with a late night trip to target-of course. see the hi quality photo taken with my phone below:)

adoption update: i sent another packet of info/docs to gladney yesterday. i think i've almost completed all of the paperwork for my file at gladney. i am waiting to hear back from our home study agency (childrens home and aid) regarding our next visit and i have a jumbo file of documents ready to send to kate at kbs dossier-who will be helping us complete our dossier.

we are all done with visits to the doctor, notarizing documents, and preliminary paperwork..... i think. now we need to focus on our homestudy and dossier! i can't wait to get all of this done. i have been spending a lot of time reading adoption blogs and thinking about baby names. my excitement is really growing. i feel like God is going to bless us big time and i can't wait to become a family of 4!
